Prepare for Your Quran Ijazah with a Qualified Teacher
Improve your recitation step by step with serious personal guidance
Have you memorized all or part of the Quran and want to take your recitation to the next level? At Al-Dirassa Institute, we help committed students prepare for the Quran Ijazah with experienced teachers who hold an authentic chain of transmission.
An Ijazah is not just a certificate. It means that your recitation has been listened to, corrected and approved by a qualified teacher according to the rules of Tajweed and the recitation of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim.
Our goal is to help you progress with discipline, clarity and consistency until you reach the level required to recite the Quran with accuracy and confidence.
What Is a Quran Ijazah?
A Quran Ijazah is an authorization given by a qualified teacher to a student who has shown strong ability in Quran recitation or memorization. It is based on a chain of transmission, known as Sanad, connecting teachers from one generation to another back to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
In simple terms, the Ijazah confirms that the student has recited the Quran correctly in front of a qualified teacher, while respecting pronunciation, Tajweed rules and the proper method of recitation.
- Authentic transmission: the Ijazah helps preserve the recitation of the Quran as it has been passed down through generations.
- Careful recitation review: the student recites directly to a qualified teacher who listens, corrects and guides them.
- Serious Tajweed work: pronunciation, articulation points and recitation rules are reviewed with precision.
- A demanding certification: the Ijazah is only granted after consistent effort and a recitation that meets the teacher’s requirements.
- A responsibility: receiving an Ijazah also means carrying the responsibility of transmitting the Quran with care and respect.
Earning an Ijazah is an important step for any student who wants to deepen their connection with the Quran, perfect their recitation and, by Allah’s permission, transmit this knowledge to others.
Why Prepare Your Ijazah with Al-Dirassa Institute?
The Ijazah is based on the Sanad, a continuous chain of transmission between the teacher, their teachers and the generations before them, going back to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
This chain is what gives the Ijazah its value. It is not only about technical skill. It is also about receiving and preserving the Quran in a faithful and respected way.
At Al-Dirassa, students are guided by qualified Quran teachers who themselves hold an Ijazah.
Every student progresses according to their current level of memorization, recitation and Tajweed.
- You recite regularly in front of a qualified teacher.
- Your mistakes are corrected with care and precision.
- You improve your fluency, pronunciation and Tajweed application.
